Imagine going to your favorite Quicktrip, and your pumping gas for the third time this week at $3.85 a gallon. You look on the side of the pump and see what appears to be a $100 dollar bill sticking out… do you leave it there? OF COURSE NOT!!
I have seen these cards around and believe me they do work. I used to hold on to them for a long time, simply because it looked like real money (see photo on my page). The outside looks like a bill folded over, the inside has the sizzle info. Very effective over regular drop cards.I have found a company that does these cards for an order of 5,000 at $200 + $10.00 Priority Mail (you fold them yourself). Unfortunately this is their minimum. Another alternative is good ol’ Photoshop. I designed my own 4.25×2.5 cards and had the the printer match the paper close to the dollar color.

I have recently been updating my Facebook (FB) profile and I got to say, this is great. I actually like this much better than Myspace. Along with adding a personal profile about myself, I can add videos about my NES opportunity, create and join groups, and of course, meet old friends and make new ones. Facebook allows a search by city and state and even by schools to connect with old schoolmates quickly!

But I will share a secret that I have been doing recently: I have been going into different groups and just simply selecting new friends that I want to exchange profiles with (usually I leave a personal invitation). I try to do around 15 to 30 per day, which can literally take about ten minutes. When they accept, I send them another message thanking them, telling them a few personal things about myself, and then inviting them to look at my personal website. Facebook also has “gifts” that you can send to people. These gifts are digital icons in which you can leave personal messages. Technically you are supposed to pay for these “gifts” that are usually a dollar each (imagine that!), but I downloaded free gifts to my profile and usually send a “money stack” icon with my personal invitation. With 15 to 30 invites per day going out, this is a simple way to market – and at the least, a great way to meet someone new!

I believe that online marketers should implement both the business site as well as create a personal website to promote the business or service. Obviously, the business website or lead capture will provide all of the “hard details” about the opportunity, but these type of will not naturally increase in ranking on the search engines. By doing a google search, you will most likely not find the business opportunity for that specific company page. There are some marketers that use the company page or lead capture for their pay-per-click campaigns, but an important question that one should ask is, “How will my company page stand out from the next page if it is exactly the same information?”

You can create a simple web page to do all of the things that the company page will not do. Here are some examples of how this can work for you:

Keep It Super Simple (KISS) – Building your site does not have to be complicated. There are many site builders to use, and many are free. If you can create a word document, then you should not have too much difficulty. Freewebs.com is an excellent source for putting together an easy website.

Personalize Your Site – When you are creating your site, it should reflect a personal image about you as well as you business. You will want to show your visitors that you are a real person that they will be able to identify and connect with. You will want to give personal details about yourself as well as provide a professional image. If you are comfortable with showing yourself, make sure to include images, video, and also audio. This will allow your prospects to get to know you before they even talk to you or join or make a purchase.

Link the Business Website To Your Personal Website – Your personal website will introduce your prospects to you and your opportunity, while your business website will “close” your prospects. Make sure that your personal site has a “sign-up” section that connects with the business site. This should be on every page of your personal site.

Personal websites can rank better – By providing useful content, direct keywords, as well as specific links to your site, this will allow your site to rate higher on the search engines.

Blog Your Way to the Top – Make sure that you are using blogs in your site. Search engines like google love blogs such as WordPress and Blogger. Plus, this will allow you to ad fresh content for your prospects on a regular basis.

As I relatively new to online marketing, I have had success with another home-based opportunity known as “cash gifting.” Most of my success has come from learning and mastering the constantly expanding Web 2.0 online tools. Most people that know me call me a “free-k” because they know the word “free” is one of my favorites….

Anyways, a few months ago, a gentleman by the name of by the name of Jason Spurlock saw one of my YouTube videos and contacted me. During our conversation, we found that we had alot of things in common. This is one of the great things about being online.
